ACC Weekend #5. Will be halfway through conference play after Monday (Miami/Duke play Sat-Mon series). The following is my scoreboard watching/what's good for Ga Tech take on this week's conference serieses o_O... any grammar person who wants to school me on plural for 'series'...bring it on. I'm not too old to learn.. I am too old to care, though. - Ga Tech @ Notre Dame: Tech needs/should win the series... sweeping them would be very helpful! #captainobvious - UNC @ BC: I'm already conceding UNC will win Coastal and be the #1 or #2 seed in the ACC Tourney. Therefore... keeping a boot on BC's throat is just fine. - Duke @ Miami: Both teams are 5-7 in the conference. With no crystal ball... gotta just hope no sweep (either way)...keeping win totals (winning percentages) for both teams at a minimum. - Pitt @ UVA: Similar (but not as pronounced) to UNC, UVA (5-7) is probably going to head toward top of Coastal with very little we can do to stop them (i.e. get in front of them). Although, right now... Pitt holds a better record at 6-6. So... hedging a little, I like our chances of "passing" Pitt more than passing both (Go HOOS). I reserve the right to change my mind in the future. - VT @ Clemson: Expect Clemson to handle Va Tech... without much problem. That is good for Ga Tech too. - WF @ Louisville: Best matchup of the weekend in the ACC. WF has a chance to prove any remaining skeptics regarding their early season success wrong on road against Louisville. - FSU @ NCST: Interesting. Both of these teams have not met expectations thus far.
