If I was JBatt/in charge of something at Tech, I would hang that banner all over the place, have the trophy displayed and claim the ever living **** out of that championship. What’s the ncaa gonna do at this point? Say no you can’t do that? Piss off and come physically take it if you want and then have those people arrested for trespassing.

Reggie Bush set the precedent on this. "It's legal now so gimmie gimmie gimmie." (If Bay-Bay's 2009 situation was today, there would be no investigation. And without an investigation, there would be no-one to "interfere" with.)

I had the pleasure of making this trip to Tampa. Great game, and even a greater W for The Jackets over a good Clemson team. A thriller.
I consider the NCAA penalizing GT for this "infraction" to be the height of the hypocrisy in the NCAA rules. Go Jackets and let's repeat in 2025 as ACC Champs!

Things I remember about going to this game:

The rain on the drive down
Turkey legs at the game
How I didn't dress for the cold weather during the game and froze my you know what off...
GT offense answering every shot Clemson's offense had.
Clemson's offense running to the opposite side of Derrick Morgan
CJ Spiller's insane speed.
Post game shenanigans in Tampa.

My (at the time) girlfriend's friend accidentally (and perfectly) dropping an entire cup of soda in her new Louis Vuitton purse and getting angry at me for not pulling over immediately. There was construction going on one side, and there was a concrete median on the other side. Her friend got even angrier when I told her "Hey, if you can't afford to get your purse messed up, maybe you shouldn't have purchased it." Yup, the rest of the drive home was awesome...

The jerk investigator from the NCAA was a UNC alum. Talk about hypocrisy, fake AFAM classes for 16 years. Cam Newton family taking $200K to play at Auburn with no penalty. What a joke.
