UGA rivalry & ceremony retiring Dennis Scott’s #4 isn’t enough? We need Krispy Kreme doughnut, T-shirt & $4 ticket giveaways? That’s pretty sad?We need a big, loud, HOME crowd for this one. I wonder what, if anything, is being done to try to turn out the fans for this one. Maybe let’s hire Pastner back in a new role. He was great at drumming up prize giveaways and whatnot to get students and fans to show up.
Wouldn't be the first time reality is sad. There were maybe 1,000 butts in seats last night and you could count every student present at tip off with 10 fingers and 10 toes. Blast a 30 second clip all over social media of CDS holding 50 $20 bills fanned out. If you're a student in attendance on Friday, you will receive 1 free raffle ticket to win this cash. Put a sign on Skiles advertising the promotion. If it drives out 2,000 students, that's a ROI of $0.50/student which is a great return. If students have fun and experience cathartic moments (much more likely if there are 2,000 of them there, at least if the past 2 football seasons have proven anything), they may voluntarily attend games in the future with zero cash incentive.UGA rivalry & ceremony retiring Dennis Scott’s #4 isn’t enough? Yes, it’s sad, I agree. We shall see. Last night the crowd was like a junior varsity high school game. Hopefully GT fans will turn out for uga rivalry game, but I will not be surprised if we are outnumbered in our own gym. And God forbid if their fans have a reason to get loud, the home team may end up playing in a road environment. I hope not, it’s embarrassing for our players, but I’ve seen it happen before.UGA rivalry & ceremony retiring Dennis Scott’s #4 isn’t enough? Basketball algebra 101, we lost to X, X lost to Y = we lose to Y isn’t a thing.Bad news, Ugag beat North Florida pretty handily last night 90-77.
True…but I still think we will likely lose to UGa. (yuck…I hated saying that!)Basketball algebra 101, we lost to X, X lost to Y = we lose to Y isn’t a thing.
What’s frustrating is it doesn’t look like we are trying very hard on that end. That will be the quickest end to Stoudamire’s tenure if he doesn’t find a way to fix it.If we don’t start playing defense, we won’t be beating anyone.

To use an SAT word it seems they are lollygagging when getting back on D while the other team runs up. I'm screaming get back at the TV but they don't hear me.What’s frustrating is it doesn’t look like we are trying very hard on that end. They put redneck vocabulary words on the SAT now? Just kidding. I’ve just heard and used that word from and with all of my “southern” kinfolks all my life.To use an SAT word it seems they are lollygagging when getting back on D while the other team runs up. Not a fan of publishing negative thoughts & feelings about approaching games, team or season. Especially after a win, 2 key guys injured & renewed efforts needed to get seats filled at home. Does not help. Absolutely nothing constructive about it. I understand it. I get it. Some times it is better to just button up & keep it inside.True…but I still think we will likely lose to UGa. I might be able to go but I do broadcasting for my HS and there's a chance I'm on the mic for our state football playoff game. However I might not call it this week because it may end up on regional TV so I may go to this one if I'm off.We need a big, loud, HOME crowd for this one. They made the NIT last year. UGA was 17-16, 6-12, 11th place SEC & won 3 NIT games before losing to Seton Hall. I expect they are a more experienced & better team this year. GT always has a high rated strength of schedule.Going against my typical bent, I am ok with where this team is at this point. This is the best 1-10 roster we have seen in a long time, not the best 1-5 but the best 1-10. CDS is trying to find the team chemistry and that may take a few games. Keep in mind we are playing a team that made the tournament last year so they are a good team. We proved last year that we can beat good teams and lose to bad teams. I'm optimistic about the chances this year, let’s see how it plays out.
^^^^LOL....Love seeing our own fanbase admit defeat (to the damn Dawgs of all people) before the game has even tipped.
I feel confident going into this one for the very fact that most of you dont....Mark my words...GT will be favored in this game and we will win!
Our guys haven't gotten up for a game yet. They will tomorrow night. McCamish has been a morgue through the first three games, tomorrow night it will be rockin!
Btw......Ya'll know that **** is blasphemy, right? LOL
