Those of you that regularly attend the men's basketball games but have not seen the women play in person yet, do yourself and this team a favor and come to the game this Thursday against the Hokies. You will see an exciting brand of basketball with a very unselfish team that moves the ball at a fast pace and has shown the ability to shoot the ball with consistency from anywhere on the court. If you do attend the game you just fight find yourself switching your weekly game attendance to the women rather than the men unless you have the wherewithal to attend both teams' games. It would be amazing for these ladies to be rewarded and surprised to find the home court packed with fans Thursday and hopefully for the remainder of the season.
I constantly hear people when they talk about attendance say "when they start winning the crowds will return". Well it's hard to win more than being undefeated! Let's help our ladies keep it that way and show up starting tomorrow.
