However, it wasn’t always this way. Go back through the last decade and understand it was Dabo who built this program slowly and steadily. But it was definitely under his guidance. What made him successful was an administration that was all in with him and his philosophy towards the program. He...

My guess would be sometimes it hurts a team more to get out of the normal play style rhythm. Just a guess. I have seen teams slow down before to work the clock and can’t seem to make a play. Didn’t make much of a difference in this case. Probably should’ve used all of the clock.

If I had to give one simple answer, it would be that Trevor Lawrence seems to be in total control of the offense. As a junior, He seems to just be better this year. If that is even possible, LOL. He just seems to be able to make any play to any player at any time and any place on the field. And...

I believe the defense today good job against the run, resulting in Clemson throwing a great deal more. That was working for them, so they stuck with it. Stop the run, they pass. Stop the pass, however unlikely, they will run on you.

I agree. Follow that up with fresh legs constantly coming in as second and third team startS to filter in with the first team and it is difficult not to get gassed.

It is also in my humble opinion that rotating players is not irrelevant. The second, third, fourth string players do not produce the same stats as the first teams. The offensive stats would be greatly improved, if they are not high enough already, as were the defensive stats. The second and...
  7. Clemson Game Open - GT opens at 26.5-27 point dog

My point was: if Trevor is getting 300 yards in the first half and comes out of the game fairly early in the second half, he could easily have had 400 yards passing per game. There are so many games I have witnessed where their stats could’ve been double what they ended up being. Keep in mind...

Omg, The punter is playing quarterback.
  9. Clemson Game Open - GT opens at 26.5-27 point dog

Clemson‘s fourth string quarterback and fifth string running back, a.k.a. The Waterboys, are playing in the fourth quarter and scoring. They are definitely a machine. And a fine tuned one at that...
  10. Clemson Game Open - GT opens at 26.5-27 point dog

Have you not noticed that the water boys are playing most of the third and fourth quarter, LOL? Clemson could have twice the stats if they desired. They believe in everyone playing if possible. Stats don’t always tell the whole story. That is why they rarely cover the spread in Vegas.
