I'm glad to see recruiting has picked up. Hopefully, this equates to more success. "unranked" doesn't say much about the level of recruiting except that it is not top 25. I just feel that outside of a few exceptions such as the NIT run last year, that the team has underperformed. CMJ seems to...
Seems like the results don't live up to the recruiting level. Sign a lot of highly rated players but never seem to be better than decent. The recruits from Europe have been a waste of time. I guess one of them has "Panned" out.
Nothing to do with the SEC. Bowl games are meaningless exhibitions. As a result, teams often do not have equal incentive to win.
For daring to call me an SEC homer, I give you a virtual smack upside the head. ;)
Auburn just missed out on the playoff and the Peach Bowl feels like a consolation prize to them. UCF is excited for the opportunity to play against one of the big boys. Neither team has played in about a month, so there is no continuity and execution becomes a bit of a wild card. I don't think...
I became a fan my freshman year when an upperclassman who was big basketball fan asked me if I wanted to go to the game, otherwise he was going alone. It was an early season game against some team I can't remember. I knew so little about college basketball, I had to ask questions about the rules...
Perception? I don't care if non-GT fan thinks negative things about our program. It's not like our fans don't bad mouth other programs. That's what fans do. We may be unique when it comes to the challenges we face fielding division 1 athletic teams , but non-GT fans don't appreciate it and...
Probably has more to do with CJP being so strict in regards to compliance. If @Jumpman says it is not a big deal, not sure why so many want to make it one.
Duke has a very good defense but struggles to score. We cannot expect to give them anything and get a comfortable win. If special teams are no worse than average and we do not turn the ball over, we should win.
Bowl practices tend to be for red shirts to get reps that they don't get during the regular season. In 2015 those players that would have been redshirted actually had to play because of all of the injuries. Bowl practice reps were less necessary.
Calvin Tiggle was a one man wall, stoning their back on 4th and goal from the one. My friend lost his voice for days because of his initial reaction to that play.
