This should not have to be coached. I would like to see a veteran in the huddle, the center, somebody, just say it out loud without a coach having to say so.
OL still looked young. Sims ran a lot because he had to, but also seemed to play more cohesively (gold colored glasses view)
I hope this is a growth game for this unit.
I had to watch a replay, but what a great result!
Late in the game I liked how H. Hall looked, muddy, tired and wanting the rock. Gavin really took advantage of his new opportunity, big kudos to the young man. Sims may have had his best leadership game.
Overall, I saw a team competing as...
We walked the fired employee to the car, security escorted the car to the gate. In today's day and time, that's how it is. Otherwise, inviting trouble.
There was quite a bit of dysfunction at the top of the Houston group during BOBs time there as well. At minimum, a learning experience, at best he's learned how to do and don't better.
This reminded of something from my school days. In the mid 90s, one of the local radio stations ran an "ad" for Chattahoochee Bottled Water, "the only one with chunks!"
Atlanta's water problems have been around for a long time......
Clayton White, USCe DC, would also be an interesting interview.
If Deion is truly interested, we should listen. It'd be quite the script change from where we are.
I threw out Doug Belk, Houston, in a separate thread. Some local connections.
I also would be interested in interviewing Ron Roberts, Baylor, DC. Successful HC at Division II Delta State and FCS Southeastern Louisiana, 89-45 overall. Ready for his close up.
