  1. Tulane Predictions

45-7. Jackets roll and get ready for the Irish.
  2. Lugginbill

Bigger issue is that his analysis sucks and makes no sense. Because, y'know, he's stupid.
  3. Dare we expect?

I have no idea how the Notre Dame game is going to turn out, and considering it's against a consensus top 10 team on the road, I'd say that's a good thing for us. If our guys on the edge block, we should be able to move the ball against them. I'd expect a score in the 30's, and one of my...
  4. The Case For Georgia Tech And The Option Offense

I'm more impressed with the rate statistics than the counting ones. We should be near the top of the country in rushing yards because we run more. However, when I see us near the top in scoring offense despite almost never running a HUNH offense it tells me the offense is humming. The...
  5. Happy update for GT fans

None of us were with the team in 2013, so anything about a fractured locker room is speculation. I also tend to think that's a post hoc explanation for a result. If he's happy at JMU, I'm happy.
  6. Tell me this isn't true - Byerly injury

He's still listed as the number two QB in the depth chart released today. Hopefully that means good things.
  7. Intro Video from Thursday night

Get all the mileage they can from that Derrick Moore pregame speech. That was effing perfect.
  8. Notre Dame will not be a cake walk . . .

I believe the correct approach is "Georgia Tech will not be a cake walk."
  9. Dissappointed with fan experience

I park on Ethel Street by Antico for free and walk a mile. Saves money and I never get caught in traffic. Win/win. Alternatively you could park over by the LA Fitness and tell them you're going to the gym and not pay five cents. I never buy food because my stomach's in knots.
  10. ESPN with a little love

Southern and Miami, too. Anyone remember that third and long pass to Zenon against the Canes? Look, here's the deal with Thomas. He's not perfect. No one is. But he's a superstar, and he plays for my effing team, and that means I love that dude. If you want to lob criticisms at this...
  11. ESPN with a little love

I think there may be a strawman or two in this.
  12. It's Gameday!

    Merry Christmas, everyone.
  13. Darren Waller's chances

Can we just stipulate that it isn't like receivers at schools running spread systems or pro-style systems are doing much more than we do? There simply isn't enough time to teach them that. For what it's worth, our receivers are tasked with adjusting routes based on coverages. Johnson has...
  14. ESPN: The 2015 Uni Watch college football preview

Okay, guys, I really feel like we need an in depth discussion about one topic that hasn't been broken before. What's up with Russell, and when is that contract up?
  15. GT (-44) vs. Alcorn State

Look, all I ask is that if Alcorn State finds themselves in a third and long situation right before halftime at around the 8 yard line we not let them go 92 yards on one play. Other than that, get some reps for the guys and stay healthy and get the hell out of there.
  16. GT is overrated in the preseason AP poll

But last year we started a QB with essentially zero experience. I think the issue I have with what you're saying is that you seem to assume the returning starters are static, but the replacement players are dynamic. Perhaps there will be a decline in the performance of the skill position...
  17. GT is overrated in the preseason AP poll

Isn't the issue here that the 16th best team in the country is the 16th best team in the country, regardless of record? I keep hearing that the schedule is a problem, but an 8-4 team could easily be better than a 10-2 team. That people view the schedule as a reason to indict the ranking is...
  18. Starters

Think Isaiah Johnson. He was physically ready to play two years ago, but he took a redshirt and stayed one more year. Nick Chubb wishes he hadn't.
  19. Starters

That's what I thought, too. Our run defense with Gamble outside improved considerably last year. I feel comfortable with Freeman/blitzing backer or DB to get enough pressure on the QB that I'd rather go with a stronger front to prevent the run and let the defensive backfield do their thing.
