    Duke @ GT

I understand they are better but the refs are helping them in the craziest way. There's no way an impartial person could watch this game and think it was officiated well

    Ken Suguira's Spring Two-Deep prediction

I like that Summers runs the smoke screen. He's no Bay Bay yet, but having the ability to run that effectively in our playbook takes a lot of pressure away from the center of the field. Maybe JT will be able to actually throw the pass to the man instead of sailing it over his head. Waller has...

GT to knock off the Cuse?

It'd be just like GT sports for us to beat them

    MGH

Actually statistics say Elder wasn't any better even in his best season 03-04. He was .415 and MGH currently is .416... throw some error bars in there and it looks like the OP is pretty close. Elder had the slight edge from 3, but you can't compare the 2 guys without comparing the teams they...

    Gaudin Vs Durham

Got this from KS in the AJC and never thought of it this way but you can hear the game winner from both Wes Durham (covering the game for TV) and Brandon Gaudin in the 2 videos in the following article: http://georgiatech.blog.ajc.com/2014/02/14/gaudin-durham-call-game-winner/ Wonder how...

    The Saban Rule?

Saban should just take a page out of the UGA playbook and have players fake injuries when hurry up teams are rolling. Almost got them the W over Clemson

The real story here is which Alabama or Clemson booster was paying for that rental car?!?!

GT .vs. BC @ 5:00pm today

I don't think the game would have been close yesterday if we had a healthy Golden running the point along with our 3 headed monster of bigs. Hanlan is going to get his points but after that they have nothing. The announcers said they have made 7 3 pointers in the last however many games, but it...

GT .vs. BC @ 5:00pm today

I was just writing a very similar comment. I guess his thinking was we'd beaten them in transition a few times with the football pass to Miller and he stood a better chance defending a set play with our big guys covered. I tend to agree with him actually but the reality is we lose that game w/o...

GT .vs. BC @ 5:00pm today

If CBG has a legacy from his short time here at Tech it's the growth of Daniel Miller. He has grown from a defensive contributor to an NBA prospect. Not sure that would have happened under the previous regime. I hope he gets a chance in the league, he's one of the most consistent big men we've had

GT .vs. BC @ 5:00pm today

Turns out it's bad luck for me to be on the forum during the game. We are the exact opposite team as BC. MGH won the game but our post presence kept us in it. Their 3 point shooting is ridiculous. I hope MGH takes over the team next year. It can be his if he'll take it.

    Bolden's Struggles

We were probably withholding water and using homosexual slurs to demasculate players for poor performance. The reality is most teams don't really use more than 8 guys, they just use their best 8, we were in the position of using our only 8. I have no problem getting the walkons minutes, in fact...

    Bolden's Struggles

They seem to have played every other game this season there without electricity... ;). On a serious note I believe most venues like that have a large generator in place for safety issues. Whether it's enough to keep the game going I don't know.

    Bolden's Struggles

This has been the story of our season. I believe this last game he made a hard cut and pulled up on a 3 early in the game. He's a threat as a slasher and as a shooter but if he can only do that in the first 10 minutes of the game then he's not useful. The good news is he has the skill, the bad...

    Offensive Scheme Q&A Thread

Not a question, more of a comment. All of the examples shown are from the glory days of CPJ here. The cut blocking is really effective when you hit someone. Our problem has been execution the past few seasons. I can't tell you the last game where I didn't see one of our OL just fall over in an...

    Academic Intimidation

Not only this, but my favorite case study is Andrew Luck. He was an ENGINEER, gotta be some sort of Renaissance man to be an engineer and succeed at a school like Stanford then be the #1 draft pick right? After looking at the degree requirements, um not an engineer. Architectural Engineering is...

Who offered Tech signees the most scholarships?

Yeah I thought this was really poorly researched by Ken S. It's kind of like you can make statistics say whatever you want, Marshall clearly tosses offers at everyone because no one wants to live in Huntington WV. Somehow they find ~25 people who thought the movie was cool or just want free...

    CBG

I'm not sure there's a tangible answer to that question. I guess you could say we're done paying for his driving the program into the brick wall when we finally make another NCAA tournament which is at least 2 years away.... oh you meant monetarily... 3 more years in his 6 year buyout by my count
