The D front 7 doesn’t have the horses but maybe the new coaches are miracle workers. The O is much better positioned to make the transition. Remember, the new scheme is way simpler to master and doesn’t require perfectly executed blocks, reads, spacing and timing like the old O.
I think we’ll continue to be better on O than D regardless of the scheme change. We have a stable off good and maybe great qb’s who all played in a similar O in hs. Yates is practically tailor made for this O.
We also have a stable of good and possibly great runningbacks including a freshman...
I agree, but there are some who want to stop scheduling FCS and replace them with tier 1 schools even though we basically start the year in the hole 2 games. Our schedule is plenty tough the way it is.
I wonder if we could do a citizens thread lock, kinda like a citizens arrest? I doubt any of the responders in this thread have altered their opinions one iota and no new ideas are being presented. In fact, no new ideas were ever presented in this thread. Pretty soon it'll just be men...
Ahhhh, now you're banking on hypotheticals. Nice. A whole lot of what if's can go a long way to win an argument.

If you’re going to view one coach strictly through a % lens, you must do the same for all coaches.
I just wish we had a degree in Circus like FSU.
As for starting a high tech “coaching” degree, someone in GT academia would have to push it, that’s the first hurdle. Then they’d have to prove to the BoR there is sufficient demand for it in the state and that what we’d offer is significantly...
It’s funny how some of us choose to measure success. They look at winning percentage alone and ignore all else. I bet those same folks don’t treat Ross that way.
In 12 years there’s bound to be some anomalies. There’s a much longer list of teams we destroyed. There’s even a pretty good long list of teams we’ve beaten with better talent.
If Parker leaving shows lack of faith in an OL coach, it’s certainly not the one that already left. I thought we were getting the best in the business? I thought we were getting a guy who’s a well known OL guru and NFL groomer? A guy would have to be nuts to pass that up! Parker may have...
