He had license to launch all through high school. Had 6'4" guys guarding him and he would float. So it is ingrained. ESPN is right they need to go back to the end of last year when they did run some double post action or only threw it to him when he was cutting from the wing/corner
That is generally the approach for a 5 in a 4 out set. With Moses he would be rolling right into Banks. Generally double post sets look for high low type actions or at least screening to get the other guy open in range
In today's game it is hard to have a 4 and a 5 who don't score from 15 to 18 feet. You have to be really pay attention to spacing and ball movement. UNC is about the only team I can think of that routinely plays a double post and they have started to go away from it - though Roy is kicking and...
MWBATL - in short we played down to the level of competition today but still got the benefit of the massive athletic difference in the teams.
Going forward the upside is we do play good defense recognizing they missed some shots I thought they would make. Our issue is going to be scoring...
I assume he does like his salary which is now partially funded by the ACC network. The same network that gave him a 3 hour commercial with Packer and Durham the other morning.
I know he likes to start his seasons really slowly but that really isn't a reason to go all "money grab" on...
We do need to have scoring from Bubba if we are going to be bubbly. He doesn't have to be the lead scorer but he can't be zero routinely. I don't think he will be zero routinely but it is going to take some attention to make sure he gets some specific shots.
No immediate answer but that is a key question going forward. We will almost certainly not get near the bubble if he is not at least a legit threat to score. I thought Pastner had some nice wrinkles to get DeVoe specific shots and he likely needs to do the same for Bubba
If we were going to see Shembari it was going to be when Bryce was torching us. From what I recall that assignment went to Moore. Asanti seems a better shooter so he got the minutes.
I expect Usher will change that calculus but for yesterday he got the minutes
NC State was short 2 key starters for them which helped a lot. But that makes it the kind of opportunity you have to take advantage of and we did. Major kudos for that. Some thoughts
Moses looks like he is picking up where he left off last year. That was a big question for me
I wonder if...
