    Credit to MBob

Given this is a 6 year contract, it shows potential recruits we are committed to him. For this length of a term, I wonder if the buyout will be the equivalent of 2-3 years of salary. I'd also be interested in seeing bonuses he is eligible for.

@RamblinRed, perhaps you mentioned it somewhere else but can you shed insight in this topic as to why you don't like this potential hiring.

Interesting article referencing Pastner from a former Southwest DeKalb star who played four years at Memphis http://www.commercialappeal.com/sports/tigers/basketball/shaq-talks-goodwin-reflects-on-bittersweet-relationship-with-pastner-state-of-program-and-more-2f467-374172181.html

Spring Practice 2016 News & Notes

The offensive formation should dictate the defense we play. At least one of the linebackers should have the ability to cover a tight end.

    92.9 the game

I listened to them yesterday (4/4) afternoon and Mike Bell indicated that our salary offer was $1.5M/season for Drew and Vandy topped it. I'm not sure how accurate his source is but if there is any truth to the salary, we probably won't get attention from any of the 'name' coaches.

    Chuck showing CBG some love

It may be flawed however if applied consistently against member institutions, it does provide some insight regarding schools helping student athletes to graduate.

    Chuck showing CBG some love

One of the metrics since 2003 is the Academic Progress Rate (APR). At a school like ours, it is just as important to do well with this as wins and losses. Most fans might disagree with this.

    2016-2017 starters

I will be interested to see the contributions Gueye and Ogbonda make next season. Given the both redshirted with a chance to get stronger while practicing against the current senior big men, they could turn out to be pleasant surprises in the rotation. I also thing Heyward may not come back...

    Winning streak

From a recruiting perspective, do you think any graduate or unsigned ACC caliber PGs may give us another look since it seems as though they can get playing time right away? If I had to guess, I would say that Heyward may choose to graduate (assuming he is on schedule) thus freeing up another...

Glover played his freshman year at Tech. He got injured just before the start of his sophomore season then elected to turn pro afterwards.

Interesting starting lineup with MHG starting out at PG and Stephens starting out. A larger lineup and hopefully we will see more dribble drive penetration.

Good for Coach Fritz! It will be interesting to see what he can do with Tulane. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/ncaaf-dr-saturday/report--willie-fritz-agrees-to-be-next-coach-at-tulane-181455399.html Who on our current staff do you think is looking for a full time gig?

Like the balanced scoring from our big 4 seniors along with Q providing a lift for the 2nd unit. We only had 2 assists in the 1st half thus a lot of one on one drives to the basket. Still have some concerns about our PG play, both offensively and defensively, going into the ACC season. The...
