Note: 6'6" Sacko had more rebounds 8 vs 5 and just as many blocks 2 as Dowuona in that game. Tech's front line could be young but explosive this year!!

We had a 6'7" center last year. We have 3 6'9" (Ndongo, Gapare, and Souare) and 1 6'11" (Dowuona) guy on the roster.

I agree with Jacketman99. With Coach talking about him on almost all interviews and Miles. I expect Ndongo to start. The question is if Gapare or Claude starts at the PF.

SDSU is interesting as one of the AS was on CDS Pacific teams. CDS stated he wanted GT to be a national brand. I like the sound of having a West coast contact on the team.

Why did Pastner not find more playing time for Fred’s? Okogie was in games producing. If we are going to miss Fred’s, what was stopping him from playing this year on a team not even making the NIT?

The convention is during a bb recruiting dead period. CDS time to put together at least 2 coaching hires unless he is looking for NBA related coaches.

SEC does that all the time in football and claims the conference schedule is so hard. Clemson was14-6 in conference even with a weak out of conference,they sh have been in the tournament

Not surprisin, but Dean and Coach K are no longer coaching. ACC teams are not getting the same opportunities when beating Duke or UNC these days. Clemson beat Duke this year and was 14-6 in ACC games

ACC needs to call all games like the NCAA tournament refs. Duke has talent and would not go down much in the rankings. But they would be ready for ref calls in the big dance! It seems the ACC refs have the tightest called games. The other conference champs don’t seem to fall apart bec lack of calls

There are 14 other coaches and AD in the conf. How long will this continue? It bad for the conference for Duke to look so weak in the NCAA tournament because they don’t get those calls. I bet there record in conference would take a hit or they would be better prepared for the NCAA

Jason Smith article is a great write-up. Damon effect on Ariz and Memphis defensive ranking is something to look forward to as Tech fan. I'm not saying he is the next Bennett/UVa, but Bennett won at UVa first because of defense. You will not have the early season loses if Tech plays great...

I have not seen any recruit credited to Wilkins. What has he added to warrant this promotion?
