Yea it was funny the people pretending all 3 stars are alike and saying we are only top 25 because it’s the beginning of the class they are looking silly now, even if we lose Gibbs we finish top 25.
How do you expect the younger fan base to dominate the crowd on game day, most people in their lower 20s aren’t financially comfortable enough to buy season tickets. That’s the case for every program, you ever been to a UGA game, looks like a class reunion from the 1970s.
This argument has been brought up on the board multiple times and we’ve always come to the conclusion that the old fans have been saying when we’re are gone it’s over since the 50s. There are way more Tech fans then people realize most are just embarrassed to even be a Tech fan because of the...
I assume this is Pretty ignorant reasoning but do you seriously feel that 50-60 year olds have a better grasp on College Football because they’ve been around longer? College Football has changed more in the last 5 seasons then it has it the previous 20 before that and Tech was in danger of...
If yall are the age of fans that buy season tickets and know everything about college football just because yall are older then yall suck, Saturday was the worst crowd I’ve ever seen at BDS. No one is trying to attract a younger crowd or push yall away but it seems like some Tech fans are...
Will never happen but it’s fun to fantasize. It is technically the off season. Also what about Tech says we aren’t a fit for the super conference, Atlanta alone would keep us in. How many small companies in ATL can we find to sponsor our players, I’ll save you the research : a **** ton.
News Flash we are no longer running a scheme designed to work with below average talent and size. People who think recruting isn’t important need to wake up, this is the life blood of our program now and the most important part of Collins job.
We are set next year but like always will have questions about the DL. Clayton could be a program changer for us IMO, if he has a big year it can show that we can coach up DL and help recruiting.
The OL held up against one of the best Defenses in the country and gave Graham time early on to hit his gimme throws. In the 2nd half when we needed explosive plays we got exposed trying to pass protect for long and run the ball outside the tackle.
The OL wasn’t the problem but it’s also the reason we play the way we do and don’t get into power running sets and force a WR to throw it multiple times a game. The OL didn’t lose us the game but we scheme around a weak OL to make them look and play better then they are.
Yea man those 6-7, 5-6, 3-9 seasons and almost identical Winning Percentage as Gailey were really some good times. And following up both of the best seasons with losing seasons the year after really showed how dominant he made our program.
The OL wasn’t the problem today. Their development this season has been the bright spot offensively, next year are full strength plus more depth with the Freshmen I think we will have way better results.
