Agree with Stinger78 here. It's not luck when an opposing coach makes a bad decision. It's not luck when a player FORCES a fumble. It MAY be luck where that fumble bounces afterwards. It's not luck to drive 75 yards in 26 seconds, taking advantage of the other team's coverage mistakes.

Kiffin is very good at identifying programs with good players and weak coaching culture. He goes after the proverbial low hanging fruit. Under TFG, that's what we were. He's not going to waste his time targeting us now. He'd rather focus on the disfunctional programs, and we aren't that any more.
I wouldn't say we saw more good than bad, However, I think we saw improvement when Sherrer took over. Was it enough improvement? I don't know. What I do now is that we need to get better at tackling, and in defeating blocks. I honestly don't know what kind of impact a coach can have taking over...
Much like in FB, you can feel the change in culture and competitiveness with this team. There've been ups and downs, but clearly, the trend is significantly upwards.
The difference is one and done in BB are all true Freshmen. Using a transfer FB player to plug a hole in his last year of eligibility gives you a better chance to win while recruiting/developing a young player for that spot. Then you have to work to keep that young player, lol.
I think J Batt is scheduling like this now, but OOC games are set years in advance, so it's going to take some time to work through the Ole Miss's of the world.
I think if we hadn't had the BG game, this would be the case. But with that experience in the recent past, I think the team comes to play hard Saturday.
It really doesn't matter if anyone actually watches, just how many homes are in the TV market for carriage fees. Rutgers brought a lot of $$ to the Big 10, and nobody in NJ gives 2 wet farts about watching them play football on TV.
