I can't wait for the day our softball team can put together an elite team. Just once

Thing is, we did have our main PA announcer doing this game. I believe his name is John Murray, but I'll admit there has been a bit of a rotation of guys at the Rusty C this year. Last year, since UGA was the host, they had their primary announcer at the game as well

Schmidt approach at the plate also looks a little off lately. A lot of the bats give off the appearance of someone who's looking for a walk rather than looking for a hit. He had an at bat yesterday where he struck out without swinging

Loving your upbeat attitude about this team. For me, it seems like our softball team struggles with similar issues every season. We don't have top-tier pitching which prevents us from beating the top-tier teams and sometimes causes us to lose against teams we shouldn't lose to. Fingers crossed...

The rush hour traffic getting there from Atlanta is insane. I live about 10 minutes from campus, and typically get off work at 5pm. It would have taken me about an hour and a half to get to Lawrenceville.

Back when I was still playing on the travel ball circuit, not even a decade ago, ninth inning was a pretty solid program. I wouldn't consider them one of the top-tier elite ones, but they were one that would typically have college level guys going to lower level schools.
