Wonder what his legacy will eventually be? Even after the murder trial he found celebrities to play golf with, like Arnold Palmer and Michael Jordan, so money and power still seem to attract each other. His football accolades are beyond dispute but questions about his relationships to women were coming up long before the murder of Nicole Brown. Similar stories have dogged Tiger Woods but he of course he never got connected to murder or crime.
Unless some new evidence comes forward we are left with a fantastic athlete with a very dark cloud hanging over his reputation. Give this 50 years and his image will be less tarnished. For evidence of that look at Henry Ford, Charles Lindbergh and dozens more whose legacies are now remembered primarily for their singular accomplishments.
