Fascinating read. Hope roof is taking notes because we could really do well in a scheme like this with our smart ball-hawking secondary and a better line + good linebackers at playing up near the line of scrimmage.

This is no different than what we did in 08-09 with Wommack
as I recall, it's not quite the same. Wommack had a hybrid LB/S position (the abovementioned Wolf, who says "f you guys, I play in the NFL after starring at a FCS team"). Patterson has 3 genuine safeties, two of which are about the same (strong and weak), and the third of which is Free.
