why does tech not recruit TE to play WR?

    why does tech not recruit TE to play WR?

    blocking is the primary task in a triple option offense and having a wr with a te type body and mindset would help in that area I know separation from the secondary and breakaway speed would be a concern, but could we not implement more slants and orbit type routes?

    example: the slant route nesbitt threw to earls in the wake forest game a few years back.

    They have offered a few TE's during CPJ's tenure. Just havent landed any.

    Of course you can't have all TE's as WR's because then you have no vertical passing threat.

    TE's want to be TE's not WR.

    Most recent example is H Walker's nephew from Savannah I think. We offered him this year trying to get him as a WR. He's a TE
