I'm glad to say Stan "the man" will be using my 3 club tix for unc game. He was qb, for those who don't know, in early 60s. But yep, that group of GT legends are starting to get smaller.

As an incoming rat those guys seemed bigger than life. Now as an old man i think was right.

Does anyone besides me remember Stan Gann being referred to as Stan "the gun" Gann rather than Stan the man.
All State quarterback from Northside in Atlanta. Played for the legendary Weyman Creel and led the Tigers to a state championship in the late 1950s. Stan was a split T quarterback who had the misfortune of sharing duties with up and coming sophomore hot shot Billy Lothridge. Still a fine player for Coach Dodd in the early 1960s.
