That fire would crescendo in Athens, be dimmed in Charlotte, and then explode in beautiful fireworks in Miami. Was a great season and made for some great memories. We had barely won 2 poorly played games early in year. Before Pitt we lost to Duke and UNC.
Pitt set us on fire and we couldnt be stopped.
2014 is a core memory for me and is my magnum opus as a Tech fan. A perfect emotional rollercoaster (only other team that fits into the category is the 2021 basketball team) we start out 5-0, with two of those wins being thrillers. Then we drop two to Duke and UNC, and it feels like it’s 2011 all over again. Then we blow out everyone else in conference play, beat the mutts in one the greatest football games ever, take a damn good fsu team to the brink, and **** on dak prescott. Just an unbelievable year.Such fond memories of 14
Can't imagine why. Wasn't it 5 straight Pitt turnovers and we had 5 straight touchdowns?I was at that game in Pitt in 2014. Sat right 50 yard line 10th row. The Pitt fans were salty.
Hell I wouldn’t wash themWWG until we lose?
It was 5 turnovers on like 8 Pitt snaps or something. They couldn't stop dropping the ball. We were up 28-0 less than 6 minutes into the game. We basically outpaced the 222-0 game for the first 5 minutes hahaCan't imagine why. Wasn't it 5 straight Pitt turnovers and we had 5 straight touchdowns?
