Should Georgia Tech hire a coach will continue to run the option (or some form of it)?

We need to install an explosive offense that will be exciting to watch and help us win games. Whether we run a wide open Oregon style offense or sling it like Texas Tech did, but we will need to keep CNW, so he can continue working to improve our defense.

So you either want to continue our current scheme, or run Oregon’s or Texas Tech’s. Leaves a lot of options at least.

To me a true option puts more decision making with the QB (handing off/running/pitching/passing) It looked more like a QB keeper offense for most of the year this year. I believe there should be an element of the option ( balanced - similar to what Friedgen ran) but it absolutely cannot cause negative recruiting "You will never throw it/catch it if you go there" ,etc.
