Update: Although they looked waaaay better on TV (I thought they were great)…still bum on the outline GT. Regular white GT with navy outline would’ve tied it all together.
I am not a staunch advocate for never branching out, but blue pants are never the answer. Just never.
Gold on gold GT helmet is pretty dang cool. Gold pants here would’ve been killer.
Not a winning look. Come on Brent, burn those blue pants.
That's the worst uniform for GT ever. Worse than bubble wrap and chicken wire.
I usually don’t care but this truly is one of our worst looks yet
Why do this for Homecoming? Gold, white, gold. That's tradition. Why look like clowns on Homecoming? Who allows this to happen? Is Scooter still in charge somehow? Crazy.
Whoever made this decision needs to be reassigned or fired.
If I lived in Atl, I would go to the Brent Key live radio show and ask 3 questions.
1. Who decided on blue pants?
2. When did that person receive their pink skip?
3. When is the bonfire to burn the things?
I think the only way to make this stop is to flood Batt's mail box with handwritten letters. Mine will be going out first thing Monday. Don't underestimate the effect of a handwritten letter.
The decision making from the GTAA just continues to baffle the mind. Whoever offered this uni combo wouldve been laughed out the room by any real GT fan.
Yes, sir. Maybe not the 50yd line because that was jam packed, but you nailed it!!!Funny how you guys are drilling the uniforms in this thread but will be grabbing selfies with them at the 50 yard line in 4 hours
At first it bugged me, but then I had the same thought as you - it's sort of like the old days. But I don't think the date on that picture is right - the logo appeared in 1967, I believe.Update: uniform looked better than expected, obviously winning helps.
Also, the GT not being that visible on the helmet was kinda cool in that it gave me a glimpse of what the Dodd era was like being we didn’t have a helmet decal back then. View attachment 17159
I agree, the image date is wrongAt first it bugged me, but then I had the same thought as you - it's sort of like the old days. But I don't think the date on that picture is right - the logo appeared in 1967, I believe.
