In light of Trump's press conference at the G7 Summit, what do you think of our new policies to begin balancing trade with our allies? If another country is applying a 300% tariff on imported US goods, why shouldn't we have a similar tariff on goods imported from that country? Why did previous administrations think the imbalance was ok?

I'm standing with President Trump because these trade deals have screwed over the people of the US for decades

This is why Trump got elected. It was in spite of his bull in the china shop personality, not because of it. Our citizens have been raped by our government for decades and he is finally standing up to it. It truly is such a shame he is so abrasive and caustic. I believe he could be one of the most popular Presidents ever if he wasn't such a ****hole.

One of the reasons i voted for him was his 'Bull in a China Shop" personality. I wanted him to shake up the Washington DC Establishment to their very core.

I admit my economic opinions stem from two places: (1) trusting authorities whose political philosophy I share and (2) the impact of policy on the economy in my lifetime (from my point of view).

So, I feel I know enuf to dismiss economists who simplisticly (ie don't engage the data) speak counter to my observations but not enuf to say I know I'm right.

Trump is making me think that maybe there's a theory that actually promotes American business AND American labor without pitting them against each other.

    We'll see.

While traveling heard Soros on the news and he said WTTE that the Maniac was willing to “destroy the world”. People just don’t get it. The Maniac’s not going to blow up the world but he may blow up THEIR world.

President Trump lowered the boom on weak and dishonest Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau. He brought up how Canada has a 270% Tariff on US dairy goods. Justin Trudeau's Liberal Party will lose the next Elections in Canada(And Justin will be out of a job) to the Progressive Conservative Party who gained power in Ontario for the first time in over 30 years.

I believe this too, but I also wish that people would just give him a chance. The media is on his case constantly and it's getting ridiculous. My dad told me a joke the other day that Trump was on a boat and saw a man drowning in the water. He got out of the boat, walked on water and saved the drowning man. The next day, the headlines read "Trump can't swim".

LOL,that's how Conservative it gets in Canada. The Liberal Party is like the Socialist-Communist Party in the US and the Progressive Conservative Party is like the Conservative Blue Dog Democrats in the US. The Canadians thought FDR was a Conservative in the 1930s.

Doug Ford the Progressive Conservative Premier of Ontario who is being called "Canada's Donald Trump" If the Progressive Conservative Party wins the next National Elections in Canada there is a good chance he will be Prime Minister.

I had occasion a couple of weeks ago to be in Europe and got to see CNN International vs RT (the state sponsored Russian network). You'll never guess which one had the most balanced, nuanced and informative coverage...by a mile!
(I have not watched RT a lot, just a small sampling, but boy was it dramatically better in discussing the Italian political climate)

These trade deals have screwed over the US for decades. If Canada doesn't want tariffs they should start off by dropping their 270% tariff against US dairy goods. I'm completely against Globalism.
