Not much to be said about that listing, other than that it's absurd that Colorado was awarded the AP NC, when the only reason they beat Missouri was because the stupid refs gave them 5 downs on one series and stole the OB victory from ND with a phantom clip. Tech was clearly the best team in the country that year. If we had only not dithered around and had to settle with a tie with the Heels.

Heck everyone talks crap about Coach Johnson, but I will say it... Thank goodness for Coach Bobby Ross (& Homer Rice who hired him) Not only do we get the 1990, 1991, 1989 season in the Top ten teams in 24 years... This is the period (Before Ross, that Tech becomes irrelevant in some circles{probably due to leaving SEC}) Ross brought O'leary.... Can you imagine if Tech never had O'leary or Johnsonn the modern era .... WOW it would looks really bad

I think the 1984 team was better than the 1977 team and i think the 1989 team was better than the 1972 and 1991 teams.
