Tony Zenon Update

Saturday evening Tony Zenon married Abby Baines at St Ives Country Club in a wonderful N Orleans flavored ceremony attended by hundreds of friends, including several GT footballers. Tony and Abby have graduated and settled into jobs in the NE Atlanta area.

D Hill and Q Nealy were in the wedding party and in attendance (among others from the FB team) were J Thomas, Snoddy, Golden, and coach L Owens. Derrick Moore presided over the ceremony.

Tony has recovered well from his knee surgery and Deon looked really great and said he was doing well since his surgery. For those of you still in doubt I can verify at close quarters that J Thomas is the 5' 11" as advertised, at least in street attire. He really looks good.

I'm happy for the young couple. Tony was a favorite of mine. Have a good life with each other, Tony and Abby.

My son and I followed Tony from day 1 when we saw he came on to the team at 155 lbs 5'9". That was inspirational to see him increase in stature and ability. He was one of my favorites to watch. Congrats to them!

Tony's back story, before even coming to TECH, is pretty amazing when you think about it.

There is no better way to go through life than with an amazing partner in marriage. Okay, just because my wife did happen to be looking over my shoulder doesn't make it any less true.
