The Miracle on Techwood

I watched again this morning, and made a few notes.

JT did a lot of good things and a few bad things. He seemed faster than the previous weeks. His home run TD was huge.

FSU lined the MLB up a little deeper than most teams. We had a hard time getting a hat on him, but he had a hard time getting in the backfield because he was lined up so deep.


Butker was clutch for us. He may be the best kicker in the ACC.


How about that defense? Their best game of the season for sure. We showed a lot of looks and brought a lot of pressure. We ran some 4-3, 4-2-5, and 3-4. The only TD FSU got was when they started on the 2. What a turnaround from the last few weeks.

Overall we played like we had nothing to lose and found a way to win. Now let's get 2 in a row.

I was not impressed by fsu Mike linebacker. He was deep as you say, but didn't force the action. He was read and react, and therefore was too late to make an impact. He was no Jeremy cash, that's for sure. I'm beginning to believe a great Mike linebacker is the single best weapon against the TO, based on what I've seen this year.

So many small things that could have given either team the win. I counted about a dozen in the fourth quarter alone.
