The Clemson President gets a 100,000 dollar raise

GT’s President is paid $1.1M. You all may not be aware he’s in charge of a budget of nearly $2B/year, about 6k staff & almost 27k students. I would not have been surprised if it was more than that. Not sure what Clem’s annual budget is but it’s not like these guys are in charge of a small company. It’s a 365 day job & I’m sure he puts in more than 8hrs a day. Crap, I pay my top Engineers a fair slice of what these guy make & we barely get them to fog the mirror 8 hrs a day (just kidding).

I think they should spend that tax money fixing South Carolina's crappy roads.

After driving 2,500 miles through 14 states on a family trip last summer I'd say our roads in SC are pretty average. I love my 1/4% property taxes.

So long as Clemson is operating like Clemson and not Louisville or North Carolina I'd say it's a good investment.

To be fair it might have just been the area I drove through.
