I loved the part about letting the player skill sets play a big role in determining the defense scheme.

For 4 years I watched our smallish defensive end- 42 - 230# faithfully try to neutralize a 330 offensive tackle. Almost never a speed rush - just line up and beat your man. He tried his best- might have been a terror. .

Or.....Roof’s attacker’s who became Woody fans and subsequently Woody’s attacker’s who are now Thacker fans. Some cycles can’t be broken easily.
