Even smart kids can be short sighted and have mixed up priorities at 17 yrs old. The easy path through school is a huge carrot to most guys who fashion themselves the next first round draft pick. </p><p></p><p>APR is the biggest of all. Meant to force academic integrity on the factories, it only encouraged more meaningless basket weaving degrees. The schools it punishes are the ones with only legitimate and difficult degree paths.
