It’s been a couple years since I broke down every ST play. Several people (@slugboy and others) have mentioned it so I thought I’d give it another go and you can blame them. I stopped since our ST have been closely related to STDs recently under both CPJ and Collins. Not an opinion but a fact. Look at the last 5 years of ST rankings by Football Outsiders:
2019 – 85th of 130
2018 – 65th
2017 – 124th (Hard to be this bad as a P5. This was the year I gave up game breakdowns)
2016 – 9th

2015 – 21st
Life is too short for bad STs. So I’ll stop if our STs continue the way we have.
Game against FSU featured awful kick returning and punting and FG/EP attempts. Overall grade D.
But ST is very diverse and not all phases deserved an F. Punting and our KOs pretty good overall. FG/EP dismal. KO returns not good.
