Link at 20:41. Am I mishearing, or did the referee clearly state that the clock operator should restart the clock at the signal for ready for play? If so, why did Collins state in his press conference that the referee stated the clock would start at the snap? Collins was adamant in the press conference that the referee announced to the stadium that the clock would start at the snap; this clip seems to indicate otherwise.

Being there live, at the other end of the stadium, it sounded like snap. Maybe if one of the best engineering institutions in the world could have a working sound system, this wouldn't be an issue.
Saw the DJ throw his headphones down when the music started screwing up.
The coach should not be listening to PA announcements.

So, if the ref said over the PA, if Tech takes a knee, they get 6 points.

Then, we should have done it because of what they said...???

What a ref says over the PA can’t change a bedrock rule of the sport.

The ref is the head rules guy in the stadium. So yes, you do what the ref says. If you played any sport, you know that.

What's happened has happened. No matter who is right, we lost today. We're just pissing in the wind now.

The ref said the clock was to start on the snap. There were 13 seconds left. The timeout was called pre-snap but the line judge right beside Geoff never acknowledged it. Then the touchdown happened. Then the timeout was granted after the fact. I just watched the replay. Then we had 6 seconds left due to their infinite knowledge. It was garbage officiating just like most of the rest of the game. No excuses, but there were a lot of wtf calls and reviews today.

Just choose a QB and an offensive system and stick with it! Coach Collins is in over his head..... This appears to be the second coming of Bill Lewis Era not the George Oleary Era!!!
