Can you imagine the wailing of the Dawgnation? Music to our ears.

Then the hang dawgs would end up playing a fired-up Baylor in the Sugar Bowl (or somewhere) and get beat, adding insult to injury. A storybook ending...
Did everybody notice that even at half time the announcers were already saying, “Don’t know who else gets in the playoffs but you can’t exclude either of these teams.” Sheesh, before the game is even decided they were already lobbying for the SEC. Georgia could have lost by 30 points it would not matter. A two loss Alabama that didn’t win the conference? Would not matter according to these guys.

My prediction: 1) Bama; 2 & 3) UGA/Mich (matters not the order); 4) Cincy ............... The Golden Domers will cry again. UGA will not drop to 4 as the committee will likely not want a possible rematch until the CG.

I think there's a fair chance Ugag doesn't make it to the playoffs if they lose. According to this, they would have a 42% chance of being left out in that scenario:

I would like to believe this but UGA is in even though they got beat pretty handily by the Tide. What I cannot fathom is that this is the same team that I watched stumble and bumble around against an Auburn team without its first string quarterback and had to drive 92 yards with 1:30 to play to win. Saban must have had aliens take over his offensive linemen because those were not the same players getting pushed around by Auburn for three quarters a week ago. Simply amazing. I am also beginning to think that if UGA is serious about winning the national championship they better sit Bennett down and play Daniels because Bennett is not going to get it done against either Alabama or Michigan.

Well, if UGA is playing Michigan they are going to have their hands full. This is a team that has beaten two top ten teams in as many weeks. They looked outstanding against Iowa. Personally, I think Big Blue is going to win that game.

No, I think they move MI to 1, Cincy to 3, UGAG drops to 4, and the same semis will be MI-UGAG and AL-Cincy
Possible. I have watched UGA sparingly this year but I always came away with wondering how they would respond against a true top ten team. Clemson does not count. In fact, they have not played any teams in the current top 20 until tonight. Alabama was clearly superior and I believe a Michigan - UGA matchup to be an interesting matchup. The most impressive team to me in watching the games today was Michigan. Beating Ohio State and Iowa back to back is a sign of a team that is confident and on a roll. UGA needed to win tonight to stay away from that matchup. We will see.

Some small things, but while small....huge... Lets start on the defense. Obama's front 4 were able to contain the running game and put pressure on the QB. That....that alone is what destroyed UGA's offense. Now, lets talk about how Bama socked the dawgs in the mouth. I believe somewhere I mentioned teams the could stretch the field, with deep balls added to that, the ability to hit quick slants would expose them. I was right. Bama did something other teams failed to do. Bama played to win, not played to not lose..... There are teams with enough talent, to copy the game play and will give UGA fits. As for our team???? We are no where near this. We don't have the right personnel on defense and we need a very good passer, with a strong arm as QB. I was happy to see those puppies go down.... Now, I am hoping the loss knocks them out of the playoffs. Probably won't happen, but maybe ND sneaks in???

Bama did show that if you can block them up front, and have wide recievers win 1-1, uga is very beatable. I don't know how many teams are capable of that. I'll be cheering for UM or Cincy to find ways to expose the uga secondary in the playoffs.

What you love to see. 52 yard drive in the first half, forced to FG. To start the second half, getting an INT after 56 yards and then being good enough on offense to force uga to press and go for it on 4th after another 50 yard drive.

That was a hell of a beat down. If the two teams play again, I hope bama is ready to double the beat down.

They’re both very physical teams. That’s what Tech lacks tremendously. Bama and ugag aren’t afraid to hit and they body tackle with power. They don’t try an arm tackle or run with you to push you ob like Tech does. Our physicality is atrocious IMO

I hate to say it, but I'm a UGA fan today. I hope they beat Nick Satan like a drum and roll him down the street in a barrel that used to be full of rum...

#1 I'm rooting for Cincinnati to make the CFB playoff. Don't expect them to win, but just getting there would be a huge accomplishment, and would be well deserved (assuming they beat Houston). I don't trust the CFB playoff committee to put Cincinnati in if they win, even with Oklahoma State's loss to Baylor today.

#2 Georgia is in the CFB playoff regardless. I want Alabama out. And seeing Cincinnati beat Georgia in a #1 vs #4 game would be glorious. The only thing better would have been to see Tech beat them last weekend.

#3 As a Dolphins fan, Saban can... Well, I don't think I can post what I really feel about him on this site, so I'll leave it to all of your imaginations!

Now that I've posted this, I need to head down to the kitchen to pour another bourbon to wash my mouth out and cleanse my soul.
Someone escort this man off the forum. He’s committed treason in the most inexcusable of fashions.

Sir, we Tech fans, never, and I repeat, NEVER pull for uga.

Turn in your Waffle House apron now.

I think bama defense figured something out in the second quarter as well (not really an X/O guy so I don’t know what). Uga was moving the ball at will early, but around the middle of the second quarter bama just put the brakes on uga offense. They never were able to figure it out.
Alabama started the game in a nickel defense. That's why UGA were running over them. Mid second quarter they went back to their run stop defense and that was it for UGA.

Didn’t they go back to the nickel in the second half? I think they knew the clock was on their side and uga would have to pass.
