I get a tad perturbed at these archeological revelations that make scientists "rethink theories" etc. These discoveries are very important, don't get me wrong. But the fossil record is the barest, thinnest, tiniest window looking back into history. To take findings like these and try to extrapolate huge theories from them is folly, i.e. did humankind emerge from Africa or Asia etc.

Scientists should take the findings for what they are. A very fortunate finding of a very brief snapshot in time.

Btw... @Supersizethatorder-mutt you need to get some more meat on your bones sir...a few more trips to the Varsity should be on to do list Safe travels in meantime
