I don't think anyone said your post was negative. If the thread title only has a player's name, people assume something bad. (leaving the team, eligibility issue, injury, etc.) If the thread title says 'player's eligibility question', people assume there is some kind of issue with the player's eligibility. A better thread title would be "A Question about Player X".
