After giving up football, Trad Beatty comes back with Georgia Tech

Earlier this year, Trad Beatty thought he was finished with football. After three seasons at Temple, he stepped away from the game, leaving the school with his bachelor’s degree in business.

Sounds like a good kid. Going for Masters in Building Construction. He's willing to help in any way - whether on field, film room, or on a headset.

He is the 4th string QB in all likelihood (unless they redshirt Peery). But what he does bring is a lot of experience and at least some knowledge of the current offense. He could help a young QB room as an experienced teammate. And obviously could be an emergency QB if injuries pile up at the position.
