Punt/kick returns

We haven't seen Juanyeh Thomas since the Clemson fumble. He was a threat every time he touched the ball last year. Is he getting beat out in practice? I feel like vision is one of the most important aspects to returning kicks and I just haven't seen it from the other guys

He's been wearing a soft cast-like thing on his hand all season. Wonder if that's it.
