I think one of the points that you highlighted bears repeating -- it seems that they didn't run that stacked LB set after those two plays you noted. On the latter plays, where you suggested that we had changed up our blocking to be more successful, they weren't lined up in the same way. It will be interesting to see if CU does that set tonight.
Secondly, on the that note, @flea77 said something that I think worthy of attention. He talked about the impact of the knee braces on OL as they try to engage DBs and LBs. Seeing how fast they fire out, I imagine it's tough to pivot a 300 lb body to engage a smaller backer. Doing it while wearing knee braces that limit the movement of the joints must make it even harder. It also explains why those braces are so necessary.
