OL to DL

Is there anyone we could move from OL to DL in the offseason? I know CPJ has said it is hard to convert an OL to DL, but it seems like we have some depth stacking up on the OL that could maybe lend to 1-2 guys coming over to DL.

I don't know who it would be, but I bet someone does move over. I guess it depends on how Glanton, Sellers, and Morgan develop.

Probably suspect #1 to move to the DL from OL. There are several OL (Will Bryan, Shamire Devine, the Morgan Twins) who have played DL in HS, but Gary Brown had an impressive HS tape playing DT.

East Carolina certainly does. Darius Commison (spelling) our transfer is third string.

Most OL's will look bad if the defense is sending 11 guys (hyperbole). We have to have better play on the perimeter to ease the pressure in the middle. That said, the OL has been awful.

I'm pretty sure some of the defense this year have sent 12 guys on blitz.

Least it feels that way.

We are getting more blitzes this year, D schemes have remained the same by and large IMO but blitzes have increased. And we haven't made those Ds pay for it.
