WTH is going on at NC State? 17 Commits by the end of June?
They on fire, but why ??
New coach, new energy. Usually new coaches do well in the first year. Look at Boston College and Kentucky for example.
They are also taking some lower guys in state that UNC didn't want.
Looks like they got a couple of guys out of GA too.. New coach runs the spread, so that's:
Are all in Tech's division that are now running some variation of the option.
did i miss something? i thought bc and ncstate were still in the atlantic div?
You probably right?
Duke, Georgia Tech, Miami (Fla.), North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Virginia and Virginia Tech.
Boston College, Clemson, Florida State, Maryland, North Carolina State, Syracuse and Wake Forest.
Boston College is doing surprisingly good in recruiting too.
Ya, but UK is the craziest. They have 2 stud RBs including the #1 overall according to Rivals. They also have the #4 class overall, so far, also according to Rivals. If they keep that up, they will be a force in the East against the Mutts.
I hope UK continues to do well.
If so many teams are now running versions of the spread option then why do some people think CPJ can't recruit to his system?
I like to call it the "Honeymoon" period...We didn't get that luxury because of all of the concerns and bad publicity of CPJ's offense.
Well I don't remember Gailey getting it either, but I didn't follow GT recruiting back then.
He really didn't get it either.... =/
Many teams go through it though....
