I’ve watched it probably ten times. It was incredibly risky. There were far more things that could go wrong than right. Haynes was a yard or two past the LOS throwing a lateral off balance through traffic to a receiver. If that throw isn’t perfect it’s a fumble. Even if it doesn’t get tipped and scooped there was a very high chance of a turnover. It was just a really bad decision. Had it worked out it still would have been a really bad decision, but we’d all be laughing about how it worked out. Whatever, we lost on mistakes when we generally looked like the better team. Move on. If we win the next two and then we have a chance to capitalize big time against ND.
