Did they talk about backup generators kicking in? I’m just curious how that could be an excuse for a stadium. Maybe it took a second for them to kick in?

Generally, back-up power is to run enough lights to make the facility safe to evacuate, not to run a bunch of lighting to illuminate a field for TV.
