Lady Jackets 2020 Softball Thread

Barely lost to a highly ranked Kentucky team by 1 run late in game 1, then turned around the next day and beat them 7-1 in game 2.

Today they were down 5-0 to Samford but batting in top 7 have clawed it all the way back to 5-5.

I'm somewhat disappointed with the lack of hitting and we're giving up way too many walks. Hopefully they can get it turned around.

Game tonight in Atlanta against Iowa State if anybody is around.

The Lady Jackets had a brutal stretch to start the year, but have since won 3 of their last 4 with the only blemish being a 1-run loss to Samford in the bottom of the 7th (their last inning).

Played a double header and split, winning 3-1 then losing 4-3. So we’ve won 4 of our last 6 games now, with 2 1-run losses.

Lady Jackets beat Ryder 5-1 to get back to 9-10 on the season. Good fight after starting 0-3. They've now gone 6-3 over the last 9, Those 3 losses were 2 late 1-run losses and an extra innings loss.
