Hamburger chain Krystal filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy citing debts of 50 to 100 million dollars. At least they will still be around for people to buy their tasty burgers.

I haven't seen a Krystal in ages. I remember when the tasty little things cost 6 cents each.
saw someone eat 60 or 70 once.

I haven't considered Krystal's in years. I can't remember the last time I even had one.

All I remember about them is they have very little meat, lot of bread compared to the meat ratio, and bread is dry where's there's not grease sponged in. There are waaay to many options these days to settle for the low quality Krystals puts out. I say this as someone who bought sackful of 20+ of them once or twice a week in college and early on when I got out of college because they were one of the few places still open when I had to work late nights.

Krystal was my 1st job as soon as I got my driver's license. I lasted one year frying chicken and flipping burgers and then got myself over to Kroger. Worked there through college. Back in the 80's Kroger would reimburse tuition to kids in college as long as you passed.
