Does anyone have any information regarding Kenneth Kirby? I know he came from an FCS program, but he also excelled there an ended up grading out at 96% his last year there. With OL being arguably our weakest position group, I imagined him battling for a starting job this year or at least come in as a back up, but I don't think I've seen him play once all year. He started the season on the ATL chart and has now been left off the last couple of weeks. Does anyone know if this is injury-related or if it is talent-related?

Not sure if both parties would be interested however could he get an injury redshirt and come back next year? Some of our younger players may need another year for development and perhaps he could provide senior leadership while making contributions. Who knows, he may decide to move on after this season regardless, especially if he has completed his coursework.

He hasn't yet burned his medical redshirt, but it would have to be a season-ending injury.

As a fan, I wouldn't mind him taking a redshirt and becoming our starting left tackle next year. Obviously, I realize the player himself and the coaches know what's best in this situation, though.
