Knoxville is no closer to Murfreesboro than Atlanta unless he is just looking to make a change. He would probably be more dominant at MTSU if he goes there. Beamer may be more interested in rebuilding long term than a one year guy. Where ever he ends up I hope it works out for him.
Beamer is at USCe, Heupel is at UTenn

Oops. Too many coaching changes. I knew that just went brain dead. Not sure that UCF coach will fit in Knoxville but he might surprise them. He likes to sling it around. I was at our game with them this past year. Likes the long ball. Quick tempo guy.

He was a finalist in Heismann voting. I had totally missed that until some of my UT friends pointed it put. Offense guy. I also thought the refs let them put the ball in play way too soon against us way too many times.

UCF ran 92 plays in 31:52 against us, for a play every 20.7 seconds. Against a much stouter Bama defense, Ole Miss ran 84 plays in 31:15 for a play every 22.3 seconds. Think the refs were helping Ole Miss as well?
Didn’t watch the game so don’t know the situation. But was that their norm?

Sorry meant ole Miss. I know UCF always runs their offense as fast as they can. Can’t see a team doing it as fast as the norm in the SEC.

Look again. Ole Miss was a very fast team last year against all their opponents.

against UF they ran a play every 20.4 seconds
against UK they ran a play every 21.4 seconds
against Ark they ran a play every 19.5 seconds
against AUB they ran a play every 21.4 seconds
against Vandy they ran a play every 22.7 seconds
against USCe they ran a play every 23.0 seconds
against MSU they ran a play every 20.2 seconds
against LSU they ran a play every 21.4 seconds

Interesting. Not as fast as UCF but pretty fast.
