8, I am trying to imagine where this team will be at next year with Key. I think he could get us to 6-7 wins with adjustments to O and ST that brings them into middle of the road status. I think the D will be worse next year after the loss of key Seniors, and will hover back to middle of road to below average. Thacker may even get poached after his performance. His second year I can envision 8-10 wins once he has his pieces in place and Pyron makes the growth we all hope he can.

He’s not my first choice but he has done a really good job stabilizing the program. He is a definite upgrade from Collins and isn’t a divisive figure. I would be opposed to any contract for Key beyond 3-4 years.
