It was good to see Mendes back on the court. I think this might signal the end of seeing Mogridge on the outside.

Doesn't look like it will be anytime soon. She is still in a cast. Once the cast is removed I would imagine it would take at least a couple weeks or more to get the hand ready for competition. Being a setter she needs to have flexure in those joints which means some extensive therapy to eliminate the scar tissue from surgery.

Atrocious referring at FSU is all I can say. Watch the 5th set. And even in the 4th when we were up 19-15, they ruled Mendes out when it was in by a mile.
Good to see Soares back; limited plays but she got some court time.

That's was pretty gut wrenching. I just feel super bad for the seniors. Would have been such a treat to have a W for their last match at O'Keefe, especially going into Thanksgiving and on top of that, winning vs Stanford. They were ONE point away!!!

Sets 1-3 and some parts of 5 were electric.
I was thinking if they swept Stanford and play well enough vs Pitt, maybe, just maybe we could sneak in to host the tourney.
Stanford finally woke up just in time. Ugh. Tough tough loss.

4 straight 5 setter losses. And taking #6 Stanford and #1 Pitt to the wire. Tough pill to swallow. Really feel bad for the players and coaches.
Hope the ladies can take that frustration and let it explode in the tourney and hope the other teams will underestimate us based on our win/loss record.

They are having a send-off from the McCamish lot at 7pm tonight. I need to get in contact w/ the intown alumni association group - this would have been a great excuse to get 50+ people out to support the team and then walk across the 10th street bridge into Midtown for a bar takeover watch party for MBB vs. Oklahoma in the ACC/SEC challenge.

Even after 4 straight losses, we got bumped up a spot from 19th to 18th in this week's AVCA rankings. I guess someone was watching the Stanford and Pitt matches😏

2nd set down 16-9... we won the point on a Bertolino kill but there's some score fumbling going on and it got set to 17-9 instead of 16-10. May not have changed the set result but c'mon... who's keeping score???

We had lost 4 tough 3-2 matches in a row against really good teams. Glad to see that we pulled this one out, and hopefully this tough 3-2 win gives us the confidence to get us rolling! We've played some of the best teams in the NCAA this year. Earlier in the year we were losing matches 3-0 against them. More recently, we've lost them 3-2. Hopefully now we start winning them 3-2 (I wouldn't mind 3-0, but at this point of the season anyone we play is going to be a battle...)
