Aug 9, 2014 11:21 AM - GTNavyNuke: Hey Eric, thanks for the reporting this morning.
Aug 9, 2014 11:22 AM - GTNavyNuke: I agree that JT not playing could be since scrimmages are to figure out the depth charts and not develop starters
Aug 9, 2014 11:31 AM - Eric: anytime man, as I reported in the thread JT felt a small pull in his hamstring.
Aug 9, 2014 11:34 AM - wingsrlevel: anyone get banged up on the Ol or DL?
Aug 9, 2014 11:35 AM - Eric: Too early to know that yet. We will see when we have practice Monday...I will ask one of the coaches tonight...Of course Shaq was out today...I think Green was as well not sure though.
Aug 9, 2014 11:37 AM - GTNavyNuke: I feel small pulls all the time .... usually nothing (LOL)
    Aug 9, 2014 11:38 AM - GTNavyNuke: Was Byerly
Aug 9, 2014 11:38 AM - GTNavyNuke: Was Byerly's 50 yard run because of good blocking or his speed? I don't remember him being that fast.
Aug 9, 2014 11:39 AM - prifle2: eric could you see anything from kallon or devine?
Aug 9, 2014 11:41 AM - Eric: Someone that was there today would have to answer those questions, sorry fellas.
Aug 9, 2014 11:42 AM - wingsrlevel: I hope that CPJ doesn't push starters so hard during this camp to have key pieces banged up heading into week 1.
Aug 9, 2014 11:44 AM - Eric: He isn't pushing the keys guys hard...that why someone like Laskey isn't playing.
Aug 9, 2014 11:51 AM - mqpayne: Anyone see Kallon.
Aug 9, 2014 11:52 AM - wingsrlevel: or some other DL back ups like Cheeks and Travis. How did they do?
Aug 9, 2014 11:53 AM - Eric: Gary Brown (OL) did not play
Aug 9, 2014 11:53 AM - Eric: Errin Joe was out as well.
Aug 9, 2014 11:53 AM - Eric: Francis Kallon did play.
Aug 9, 2014 11:54 AM - Eric: CJ Leggett was in red.
Aug 9, 2014 11:55 AM - Buzz776g: Hey Eric, just wanted to thank you for all the hard work you put into this site, the GREAT information, and the civilized and gentlemanly discourse. You and your mods do a great job!!
    Aug 9, 2014 11:56 AM - Eric: Thanks @Buzz776g appreciate the compliments!
    Aug 9, 2014 11:56 AM - UgagSucks: I agree - all the reports & commentary are all appreciated! :)
Aug 9, 2014 12:54 PM - GT_B: Defense played tough all day. Offense did move the ball but it didnt come easy.
Aug 9, 2014 1:32 PM - danny daniel: The D passed some hard licks. Jordan got wracked several times. I saw and heard big licks from Hankins, Freeman, one of the Austins, Smith, Davis, Jackson, Marvin. Gamble and Kallon played a lot and the middlle was tough all day.
Aug 9, 2014 1:35 PM - danny daniel: I know Martenson played against the reserves but his passing was really impressive. His ball handling and running was good. Jordan ran hard but his passing was high and wide. I did not see Swilling play.
Aug 9, 2014 1:45 PM - danny daniel: Biggest positive to me today was the short passing game and the dump-offs. Several worked to get us out of 3rd and long and opened the door for potential big gains.
Aug 9, 2014 2:54 PM - danny daniel: GTNavyNuke: Byerly broke loose up the middle and then slowed and weaved to let his blockers catch up and spring him loose. He then broke left like he did last year (Ala game?) and ran to the left corner for an easy score after he picked up those blocks from?
Aug 9, 2014 4:26 PM - GTNavyNuke: Danny, thanks. That Byerly got blocking is the best case. I didn't think he had grown wings - and our D should be a lot faster than he is. Good to hear about down field blocking, that is where we make our big plays.
Aug 9, 2014 4:45 PM - danny daniel: Yeah. A couple of defenders got leveled, not just screened off, but I missed who made the blocks
    Aug 9, 2014 6:54 PM - Swarmy: hello
