Yeah, I guess you could call it that, but I wouldn't. Perhaps in previous times. They're in the MCLA lacrosse league. Not an NCAA league, but extremely competitive nonetheless. Great team.

Looks like we took the matchup of the Tech's 14-13. VT was ranked #1, we were ranked #2. I didn't see it or listen, but the final score would indicate an incredible game.

Beat #11 Cal today 16-11. Combined with beating previous #1 VT Friday, should move us to #1 in next poll.

Guess their stay at #1 will be short-lived. Lost to #4 Liberty 12-9 today, on the road.

We had a rough stretch from March 11 to April 2 where we lost 3 of 4 games to really good teams. Those 3 teams were ranked #3, #4, and #11 in the last MCLA poll I saw. We were #5. Those are our only 3 losses. Hopefully we got them out of our system and roll from here.

Round 1 of the MCLA championships complete. GT on to round 2!
No. 2 Georgia Tech (15-3) d. No. 15 Texas (10-3), 17-9
It took a while for these two teams to feel each other out with Georgia Tech holding just a 1-0 lead over the Longhorns after one quarter. The lead was still just 5-2 at half.
A 10-goal scoring binge from the Yellow Jackets in the third quarter put Tech up 15-7 and the Jackets cruised home.
Devin Raun had four goals and three assists to power the Georgia Tech offense while Peter Zagrobelny finished with four saves.
Tucker George and Sterling Hupp led Texas with a pair of goals each. Ryan Glennon was credited with six saves.
